TOUS opens an iconic flagship store in Prague

Prague: key city in Europe and one of the main destinations of international tourism. There it can be found the new TOUS flagship store. The fourth opening of the company in this emblematic city demonstrates a solid commitment to the Czech market, having implemented several openings in the country in just over a year.
It is the seventh store in the Czech Republic, where the goal is to sum up a dozen TOUS stores. Currently, the company has three other stores in the capital, as well as one in Pilsen and two in Ostrava. The new establishment is located in a neo-baroque palace on Na Prikope Street, one of the busiest shopping streets in the city.
As for the interior of the commercial premises, part of the furniture, lighting and flooring elements are protected by the heritage catalog of the city of Prague. Likewise, the restoration process demonstrates a commitment to maintain the historical heritage, creating a current image that in turn respects the pre-existing conditions. The final result is a neat space that is dynamic, inside and out.
The new opening is part of the worldwide expansion plan of TOUS. Last year, the company presented its subsidiary in Shanghai (TOUS Offices), added more than sixty stores in Mexico, opened five new stores in Colombia and reached 32 stores in Russia.
For the company, 2017 has been a year marked by the success of the international commitment. "We have managed to reach 622 stores in 53 countries and have strengthened the equipment of our subsidiaries in key markets such as China, the United States, Russia and Mexico. Overall, we have registered a new record with the opening of more than 100 stores, 17 in Spain and 84 in international markets", explained Alba Tous, TOUS chairwoman.
