TOUS, as a fine jewelry firm that has made design, technology and quality its hallmarks, meets all world standards for the certification of sterling precious metals. In addition, each of the TOUS jewels marketed is certified by official authorized laboratories, from which they receive the origin contrast and the guarantee contrast.
TOUS works its jewels using the ancient technology of microfusion and the most avant-garde of electroforming. If the first one offers the possibility of working small pieces and of very concrete forms, the electroforming, by means of an electro deposition technique, opens a universe of shapes and sizes of all kinds, with pieces of larger volumes at the same time as light and without welding, thus offering a greater range and variety of products to consumers. In both cases, a technology endorsed by all the technical entities of the Public Administration is used, while TOUS incorporates in all its parts the corresponding certificate of guarantee and authenticity in which the technique used and the law of precious metals are specified. The use of the electroforming technique in the elaboration of new and modern designs of sterling jewelry is the result of a powerful investment in the Group's R&D in its Sabadell factory, together with the implementation and deployment of high standards of quality and safety at work. Depending on the size, shape and precious metal used, and as expressly provided by the precious metal legislation, the jewel may incorporate non-metallic cores that help confer stability to the piece, always being sterling, all certified and guaranteed by independent third parties.
The certification and contrast of sterling silver, as well as 18-carat gold, is carried out in accordance with the Precious Metals Law by an independent entity that carries out its certification work in accordance with the highest standards of Quality and independence. In any case, TOUS is a brand that sells jewelry design made with precious metals, but in no case the brand is dedicated to the sale of these metals by weight.
